Colour matching, honestly

We match to a physical reference, not to a screen value. A pigment in a porous body reads lighter than the same pigment on paper, and it dries lighter still. Expect the first colour sample to be close rather than exact, and expect to sign off a physical chip that then becomes the standard for every future run.

Embossing

A logo needs a minimum stroke width of 0.6 mm in gypsum and 0.9 mm in ceramic to survive demoulding and firing. Finer than that and the mark closes up. We will say so at artwork stage rather than after tooling.

Where scent loading changes the relationship

Once we load a client's oil we are handling a formulation we did not make, so it moves to a separate written agreement covering dosage, cure, shelf life and liability. Most clients load their own, and for most brands that is the right answer.

Ownership of tooling

A tool paid for by a client belongs to that client and is released on request at their cost. Forms from our own library remain ours and are not exclusive; where a client wants exclusivity on a stock form, that is a commercial conversation and it is possible.
